After six months of searching for a solution and not a lot of progress made, I finally found the breakthrough I needed for my project.
Over the past six months, my progress had stalled as I struggled to find a commercial kitchen for hire in my local council area. I never expected this hurdle to halt my progress. This had led me to consider registering with another council to access their commercial kitchens, but I always wanted to stay local. The trouble with registering a business in another council is that this would require me to apply for a permit to sell in my local area and not be eligible to attend regular council run business network seminars.
Tonight, after not checking my email for many months, I logged in and was surprised to find an email from the council. Dated back in February, it revealed a hidden gem—a commercial kitchen available for hire right in my area!
This discovery has reignited my drive. Now, I can move forward with my food handling licence and can see a clear path to being a registered food business.
This experience has reminded me of two important things: always check my emails regularly and never let inaction hold me back again.
Kicking on! Till next my next update, stay warm and keep well.
